Terramundi Money Pots are handmade in Italy, then hand painted and personalised in London. Original Money Pots hold up to £200 in mixed silver, or £600 in gold coins. Deluxe Money Pots hold up to £1,000 in mixed silver, or £3,000 in gold coins.
Our Etruscan money pots are hand thrown in Italy where they have been used for over 2000 years and their design has remained unchanged. Examples of which can be seen in the British Museum.
We think our traditional money pots are definately the best way to save, although now you can get a variety of similar products including piggybanks, coin banks, money tins, money jars and savings jars to name but a few.
The tradition is to complete the date and your desire on the included card, and insert into the pot with the first coin.
Once the first coin is dropped, the money pot must be fed till full, then smashed whilst making a wish.
Pots bring fortune and we include a fortune coin in each pot to start you off. It is customary to replace the pot once smashed, and to spend the money on good things!

Non-Personalised orders usually get dispatched on the same day if ordered by 2pm or the next working day.
Personalised orders need to dry so always take longer, usually between 2-5 additonal days.
Deluxe money pots often need to be made them scratch so they will take a little longer, they are usually dispatched by 7-10 days.
